Prices and Booking Conditions

Prices are valid for 2008, are per room per night and include full board accommodation (breakfast, light or packed lunch and dinner) and local taxes. Bottled water is supplied free of charge.

All other drinks and laundry are not included.

Discounts are available for group bookings, tour companies and travel agents, please ask for further details.

Single room (shared bathroom): £50.00 or if paying by Visa card RS$200.00

Twin / double en-suite room: £80.00 or if paying by Visa card RS$320.00

Twin / double superior room: £95.00 or if paying by Visa card RS$380.00

At the time of booking we require a 50% non-refundable deposit, the remaining balance must be paid 14 days prior to your arrival. For group bookings we require the remaining balance to be paid in full 70 days prior to arrival.

The deposit and remaining balance can either be paid by making a direct transfer to our UK account or by Visa card. UK residents may also pay by cheque. Further details will be forwarded to you at the time of booking.

Excursions, drinks, laundry and any other expenses during your stay can be paid for in Brazilian Reais (R$) or by Visa card.

After the deposit has been paid, we will confirm your booking. If, due to unforeseeable circumstances such as sickness or accident you are not able to travel then guests may transfer their booking to other persons, or may re-schedule their visit by mutual agreement.

We recommend that guests take out suitable travel insurance cover at the time of booking. This will ensure that cover is provided against loss of deposits and any final payments that would be incurred due to cancellation.

WE STRONGLY ADVISE THAT ALL GUESTS SHOULD HAVE APPROPRIATE TRAVEL INSURANCE TO COVER ANY MEDICAL EMERGENCY INCLUDING RE-PATRIATION.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS

The transfer from the International Airport in Rio de Janeiro to Serra dos Tucanos Lodge takes approximately one and a half hours. We can arrange airport transfers for £50.00 or RS$200.00 (each way) for up to three people. Group transfers can be arranged, please enquire for prices. Hotel collections can also be arranged from Rio de Janeiro for the same price.
