Prices and Booking Conditions

Prices start at just RS$ 197.50* per night per person, please enquire for our full price list. *(approximately £68.00, exchange rate on 2nd December 2009)

Prices are valid for 2010, are per person per night and include full board accommodation with breakfast, lunch, (packed lunch if out all day) and an evening meal. Bottled water, fruit and fruit juices at meal times, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and our cachaca (Brazilian rum) bar is all free of charge! Also included is access to all of the lodges trails and to our photo hide.

Excursions, drinks, laundry and any other expenses will be added to your bill at the end of your stay with us, these can be paid either in Brazilian RS$ or by VISA card.

For stays over 7 nights we offer a 15% discount on each additional night.

Discounts are available for group bookings, tour companies and travel agents, please e-mail us for further details.

All bookings made for the months of May, June and July will get a 10% discount on accommodation.

At the time of booking we require a 50% non-refundable deposit, the remaining balance for accommodation must be paid 60 days prior to your arrival.

Due to the nature of our business and the fact that many of our guests book up to a year in advance, we get very few last minute bookings. For this reason once your final balance has been paid we are unable to refund the accommodation costs. In exceptional circumstances each case will be considered separately.

We recommend that guests take out suitable travel insurance cover at the time of booking. This will ensure that cover is provided against loss of deposits and any final payments that would be incurred due to cancellation.

We strongly advise that all guests should have appropriate travel insurance to cover any medical emergency including re-patriation.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS

The transfer from the International Airport in Rio de Janeiro to Serra dos Tucanos Lodge takes approximately one and a half hours. We can arrange airport transfers for RS$230.00 (each way) for up to three people. Group transfers can be arranged, please enquire for prices. Hotel collections are also available from Rio de Janeiro for the same price.
